This is my "A look into the life of a child in the Great Depression" scrapbook called "Dear Mrs. Roosevelt". This is about a boy who is in the midst of the Depression whose father lost all in the Stock Market and got laid off. The father thinks it's best that the family packs up and heads out West to live with the boys Aunt B. The father assumes that it hasn't hit out there yet and they can start a new life with his successful farmer sister.
